Industrial Data Management

IDM (Industrial Data Management) will be a  new division of ACS and will focus on integrating real-time process data from the factory floor to the front office.  This can include raw material supplies, production capacity, quality control data, and current production output.

IDM will collect raw data from the factory floor and store it in a historian server.  The data is processed into easy  terms that all personnel can understand.  The system is flexible enough for all front office personnel to manipulate the data in common office software.  It is easy to create production, downtime, and material usage reports.  IDM will allow for a complete comprehensive data flow from the factory floor to the front office.  The data flow is easy to understand from the production worker up to the CEO.
